Inferno (Robert Langdon #4)

by

Inferno (Robert Langdon, #4)

In his international blockbusters The Da Vinci CodeAngels & Demons, and The Lost Symbol, Dan Brown masterfully fused history, art, codes, and symbols. In this riveting new thriller, Brown returns to his element and has crafted his highest-stakes novel to date.

In the heart of Italy, Harvard professor of symbology Robert Langdon is drawn into a harrowing world centered on one of history’s most enduring and mysterious literary masterpieces . . . Dante’s Inferno.

Against this backdrop, Langdon battles a chilling adversary and grapples with an ingenious riddle that pulls him into a landscape of classic art, secret passageways, and futuristic science. Drawing from Dante’s dark epic poem, Langdon races to find answers and decide whom to trust . . . before the world is irrevocably altered.

I think it's safe to say that this is not a real big surprise to me, I have seen a lot of people sitting hunched over this book, even people I have never seen cracked a book before. It seems like a great bok, a book that will leave you questioning life (cheeseball Lihini is in the house). I think this is a deep book and maybe not a book you just pick up to skim throe.

House Rules

By Jodi Picoult

Hardcover532 pages
Published March 2nd 2010 by Atria Books

House RulesWhen your son can't look you in the eye...does that mean he's guilty?
Jacob Hunt is a teen with Asperger's syndrome. He's hopeless at reading social cues or expressing himself well to others, though he is brilliant in many ways. But he has a special focus on one subject - forensic analysis. A police scanner in his room clues him in to crime scenes, and he's always showing up and telling the cops what to do. And he's usually right.
But when Jacob's small hometown is rocked by a terrible murder, law enforcement comes to him. Jacob's behaviors are hallmark Asperger's, but they look a lot like guilt to the local police. Suddenly the Hunt family, who only want to fit in, are directly in the spotlight. For Jacob's mother, Emma, it's a brutal reminder of the intolerance and misunderstanding that always threaten her family. For his brother, Theo, it's another indication why nothing is normal because of Jacob.
And over this small family, the soul-searing question looms: Did Jacob commit murder?

This book was very special. I haven't read a mystery book since I was 13, and they hardly even count. Jacob was a very unpredictable character, you never knew what he would do until he did it. His mother had struggled his whole life with trying to give him everything that he desired, and to do that she had to give away her life too.
this book was told from five people's point of view and it somehow worked. The book contained so many small details that one sidestep would have lead to a disaster with all the different minds. in the beginning I didn't see why we got to read from some peoples pov, like Oliver, but all these five peoples life's got connected at some point to the end. And talking about the end

What on earth was that!? are you kidding me, the book ended, like really ended with a effing CLIFFHANGER? there isn't even a follow up book!

I give this book a strong 3,5 / 5
I really liked her way of writing, and I liked hr characters, but she could have used less examples in her book, for an example "Jacob looked at me the way h used to look at me when he was twelve and we would sit under the cherry tree and he would look at me and say that cherry trees aren't really trees..." etc, u get the point (that wasn't a citation from the book)
and the big mystery in the book wasn't really a mystery to me when they revealed it at the end, I had the whole thing figured out 250 pages ago.

week Challenge

Hello!
I have started a new thing here on the blog, and that is "week Challenge" where I will give you a Challenge, and you will try your best to do it! the challanges will be as book related as I can make them. and if I have eough people joining the challenge I will pick a weeks winner if you write and tell me(mail or a comment works) where you will tell me how you have been doing on the challenge and the person I feel like have worked the hardest will win a Shoutout (instagram, blog, twitter etc...) !

this weeks Challenge is...
Look at your bookshelf.
I challenge you guys to give away at least one of your books to a hospital or a orphanage. I know that parting from your books is EXTREMELY hard, and if you feel like you really can't give away any of your read books my tip is to give away a book you haven't read and know you never will, that is what I am going to do.
Not only do we learn the give but we will make someone else happy, we will give another kid the joy to explore and be dragged into a book.
But it's all up to you. Will you do it?
Reading is awesomeanoukfreesoul: Bookworm. Cause some things never changed.Bookworm

Warm bodies movie Review

After R (a highly unusual zombie) saves Julie from an attack, the two form a relationship that sets in motion a sequence of events that might transform the entire lifeless world.

I love R!!!
What a zombie, so hwat ;)
in the beginning I was like eegh what is this, but the more human R got the more I liked the story, Julie was so sweet, she was very down to earth and her character was just a really caring girl, she reminded me of a blond kristen Stewart with more facial expressions.

If you liked twilight and if you like apocalypse movies/books in general you should definitely give this one a try!

u mad bro?

Roar and Liv (Under the Never Sky 0.5) REVIEW

Roar and Liv (Under the Never Sky, #0.5)
By Veronica Rossi

ebook68 pages
Published October 30th 2012 by HarperCollins

Before Perry and Aria, there was Roar and Liv.

After a childhood spent wandering the borderlands, Roar finally feels like he has a home with the Tides. His best friend Perry is like a brother to him, and Perry's sister, Liv, is the love of his life. But Perry and Liv's unpredictable older brother, Vale, is the Blood Lord of the Tides, and he has never looked kindly on Roar and Liv's union. Normally, Roar couldn't care less about Vale's opinion. But with food running low and conditions worsening every day, Vale's leadership is more vital—and more brutal—than ever. Desperate to protect his tribe, Vale makes a decision that will shatter the life Roar knew and change the fate of the Tides forever.
I liked this book, it was short and exswee, yes I just created that word, the book was quite not exciting but almost there, quite not sweet, but almost.

I didn't understand Roar so well. he made me confused, the first day he was all ok, second day a jealous psyco and the third all loving and God knows what. the other characters were good, didn't get to know them that well to give a real opinion since this was a short book.

I have been wanting to read under the never sky since waay back but something has been holding me back.. but I think I might just give this one a try :)

The Vincent Boys (The Vincent Boys #1) REVIEW

The Vincent Boys (The Vincent Boys, #1)by Abbie Glines
Ashton is getting tired of being good, of impressing her parents and playing ideal girlfriend to Sawyer Vincent. Sawyer is perfect, a regular Prince Charming, but when he leaves town for the summer, it’s his cousin Beau who catches Ashton’s eye. Beau is the sexiest guy she’s ever seen, and even though he’s dangerous, Ashton is drawn to him.

Beau loves his cousin like a brother, so the last thing he wants to do is make a move on Sawyer’s girl. Ashton is off-limits, absolutely. That’s why he does his best to keep his distance, even though he’s been in love with her forever. When Ashton wants to rekindle their childhood friendship in Sawyer’s absence, Beau knows he should say no.

Ashton and Beau don’t want to hurt Sawyer. But the more they try to stay away from each other, the more intense their urges become. It’s getting way too hard to resist....

a sweet summer read (although i read this in bed with a red nose and a fever)it was cute, everything about this book was just cute. a bit of a cliché maybe but I liked it, I liked the characters, or i mean, they were okay, they reminded me of the characters from a walk to remember for some reason...
