Something new, something old. A new Movie, an old book often results in a new interest in the old.
Did that even makes sense?
Anyway, one of the best Sellers of the month is...
The Book Thief By Mark Zusak
A great (but thick!) book!
it's quite slow but truly Amazing. This book was published by Knopf Books 2005.
It is 1939. Nazi Germany. The country is holding its breath. Death has never been busier, and will become busier still.
Liesel Meminger is a foster girl living outside of Munich, who scratches out a meager existence for herself by stealing when she encounters something she can’t resist–books. With the help of her accordion-playing foster father, she learns to read and shares her stolen books with her neighbors during bombing raids as well as with the Jewish man hidden in her basement.
In superbly crafted writing that burns with intensity, award-winning author Markus Zusak, author of I Am the Messenger, has given us one of the most enduring stories of our time
I Always Think that you should read the book Before you see the Movie adaption, because sometimes a movie can really just ruin a book.
Wow the photo shoot wen't soooo well, I got so emotional when my friends decided to step up as my personal assistants, they helped me through it all, and this shoot wouldn't have been this successful if it wasn't for them. Me and Elvira (the photographer and a great friend) have been working close on the header, and Im very proud of it and can't wait to share it with all of you guys on Monday!

“I think that after the first time you give your heart away, you never get it back. The rest of your life is just you pretending that you still have a heart." -Noah”
WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW.
Me after reading this book:
My insides turned into something mushy, my heart ache, and my existence stopped making sense. Time slowed down. Why I asked myself. Why can't I just rotten, vanish, disappear? Why am I forced to live when all I wan't to do is die?
I realized what I was feeling.
There was a name for this.
They called it a broken heart.
All because of this book.
So unpredictable and sweet, and the hardest thing to accept about this book was that it was so RAW. It was like seeing someones actual life playing in front of you, and all you can do is sit back and be amazed. And cry.
Let's set my emotions aside now, Tarryn Fisher, You did it. Tarryn Fisher Wanted to write a book that everyone would love. But she knew that that was impossible so she wen't for emotions. She wanted to make her readers FEEL. And the strongest feeling? Sadness.

...and high school senior Ember McWilliams knows firsthand.
After a fatal car accident, her gifted little sister brought her back. Now anything Ember touches dies. And that, well, really blows.
Ember operates on a no-touch policy with all living things--including boys. When Hayden Cromwell shows up, quoting Oscar Wilde and claiming her curse is a gift, she thinks he's a crazed cutie. But when he tells her he can help control it, she's more than interested. There's just one catch: Ember has to trust Hayden's adopted father, a man she's sure has sinister reasons for collecting children whose abilities even weird her out. However, she's willing to do anything to hold her sister's hand again. And hell, she'd also like to be able to kiss Hayden. Who wouldn't?
But when Ember learns the accident that turned her into a freak may not've been an accident at all, she's not sure who to trust. Someone wanted her dead, and the closer she gets to the truth, the closer she is to losing not only her heart, but her life.
For real this time
“Hunger gnawed at my stomach, but I was afraid someone would be in the kitchen again. So I found myself staring at the front door. Freedom seemed just a doorknob-turn away.
When I did open the door, freedom didn't wait — a half-naked Hayden did.”
I WILL finish this book today!
Great read by one of my favorite authors, Very sad that it's a stand alone book but what the heck, you take what is given.
I think this is her FIRST BOOK ever where the male character is not a total badass and I loved it! Don't get me wrong, I love badasses, but this just proves that she isn't one to follow a pattern. It makes her books interesting. Make them different.
I think Laurmentrout's signature thing when it comes to her books is that there is always passionate love in them. Weather it's teen, ya, NA or adult she always makes my heart melt with the love and adoration.

Over and Over again.
I am full with rage
But I think Im just really hating myself.
And people hate me.
All I see in the mirror these days.
Are my names.
Short, Pig, Fat, Abnormal.
I have no desire in living.
Nor do I wan't to die.
Maybe fast forward.
To a better time.
I don't know why I hate myself this much.
I laugh at myself.
Of what I have become.
I'm tired of even trying.
Tired of this game.

Every year, Blue Sargent stands next to her clairvoyant mother as the soon-to-be dead walk past. Blue herself never sees them—not until this year, when a boy emerges from the dark and speaks directly to her.
His name is Gansey, and Blue soon discovers that he is a rich student at Aglionby, the local private school. Blue has a policy of staying away from Aglionby boys. Known as Raven Boys, they can only mean trouble.
But Blue is drawn to Gansey, in a way she can’t entirely explain. He has it all—family money, good looks, devoted friends—but he’s looking for much more than that. He is on a quest that has encompassed three other Raven Boys: Adam, the scholarship student who resents all the privilege around him; Ronan, the fierce soul who ranges from anger to despair; and Noah, the taciturn watcher of the four, who notices many things but says very little.
Addicting. after the first page you are hooked. And I'm not even kidding. I had to put the book down after two pages and I thought I was going to break.
Maggie have written the famous Shiver book that's in a series, you know the one with werewolves.
The thing with that book-series is that nothing really happened until the last ten pages. I almost lost hope in her because of that.
I loved the whole witchworld with medium's, because it's so much like our reality but at the same time it's not.
You get to take part in Blue's life among the medium's and also the Aglionby boys life. Also known as Gansey, Noah, Adam and Ronan.
The thing that set the boys more apart was that they were all rich except for Adam. And they ALWAYS had to mention that, which made me crazy.

3 years ago it was announced - a movie company had bought the filming rights to adapt city of bones.
Over a 1000 days later I'm here on my sofa.
Because I've seen the movie now.
And I loved it.
Best night of my year so far.
Everything was PER-FECT, to every little detail, and the CAST!!
I still can't believe that I've seen the movie, it feels so surreal, I've been counting down for over a year and now the countings over. Because I have seen the movie.
I have to tell you guys about the girl who sat beside my friend Linnea, she got mad at us because we were totally fangirling, and when people started to laugh because of something they said in the movie she was like "eeh, why are they laughing" and during the whole thing she said "this didn't happen in the book, that's different, they missed this" and blah vlah blah.
I think my outfit rocked If I may say so myself.
(With Maria and Linnea)
Well, no more tears you newborn fangirl, Teenbookalover is here to TEACH YOU all you have to know!
Someone who post irritating pictures or comments, usually a mundane/muggle/mortal
Short for RelationSHIP, means that you wan't to see two characters/ actors together, or that you like them together. (ex. "I ship Jace and Clary so hard" means that I like them together very much)
Stands for 'One True Pairing' which is used when you wan't to describe your most favorite Ship,
(ex. 'Clace is my OTP)
when two different ships in the same fandom fights in which ship is the best.
When the character(s), show or movie makes you FEEL something deeply saddening, that makes you wan't to cry, that is describes as feels. Short for feelings. But fangirls are too lazy to finish sentences.
You are so happy or excited or both that you don't know what to do with yourself.
I can't even
When something happens, and you just don't know how to deal with it.
When a fan decides to use the characters from a book and create a little fiction of their own
We have all been there, so don't be ashamed, I for one have always been a fangirl, but I never connected with people on the internet until recently :)

So much will happen during this school year, I turn 18, and will be an adult according to this country, drink, buy cigg, and do all those super illegal stuff that I don't even do hahaha,
Raise your hand if you have ever promised yourself that you would start eating healthier but failed.
Raise your hand if you have ever promised yourself that you would start eating breakfast everyday but failed.
Raise your hand if you have ever promised your hand to never fall in love with the douche at school but failed.
I'm not trying to make you feel bad about yourself, I'm just stating the obvious.
But it's time for a change.
It's time to learn how to make commitments the RIGHT way.
Every time we break our commitment our brain starts to think of reasons why we did it. We start making excuses. Because we can't accept that we just had a weak moment.
But no more weak moments.
When making a commitment we have to think about three things.
ACCEPT the new situation. ACCEPT that this is the way it will be from now.
Learn that SELF-DISCIPLINE is everything to succeed. There will come moment's when you just wan't to give up, crawl under the blankets and never come up. Learn to say NO to yourself. Make no excuses.
And lastly but not least; NEVER FORGET WHY YOU ARE DOING IT.
No one makes a commitment because they have nothing else to do. We make commitments because we know that it will be healthy for us. We choose to make a change in our life, and we commit to it.
If you WILL you CAN.
Im on level 4.
I've been on level 4 for over 24 hours. I'm a shadowhunter. I will never give up.
Seriously, this game keeps you from friends, food, toilet duties, sleep, and will make you forget everyday things, like how to breath.
